Something I noticed while watching The Blind Banker was money amounts they were talking about. I believe it's about 2 dollars to the pound, or something like that? So if the hairpin was worth 9 million pounds it would be worth 18 million American dollars, and the ten pound lucky cat would be worth twenty dollars.
